February challenge mood board at Mixed Media & Art 

pink, glitter, and a touch of blue.

I have a total fascination with eyes, love eyes when i draw portraits if the eyes aren't right it won't look anything like who you are drawing.  I started by drawing my eye with pink and blue eyeshadow.  Next paint compass eyepiece (available on my etsy store) with turquoise and deep waters alchemy paints.  I painted on embossing liquid in a grungy effect embossed with stampendous embossing enamel- taupe.
Glue onto page paint gel medium around outside and sprinkle on art stones and mini art stones.

Add some color around outside, love how the spray soaks into art stones. I used Lindy's Autumn Maple Crimson, Treasure Island Aqua, Tainted Love Teal and Merci Beaucoup Mint.

Love how the color puddles around the art stones and get those lovely dark edges.

Stamp randomly around compass with texture stamps.  Emboss the eyepiece portion of Compass Eyepiece  next add some shadows with black paint around eyepiece and compass.

Texture stamps adding more layers, layers and layers and more layers. Love me some layers.

Add some fishing line around eye and eyepiece.  Paint fishing line white, add some gel medium along fishing line sprinkle on glitter and microbeads and sparks.

Splatter around compass with gold, black, and white acrylic paint.
Add a title.

Outline title with charcoal.
