Bloom where you are Planted

For February challenge at Studio Shock is the colors of Love

Today i followed the video tutorial from Aga Baraniak, I love this tutorial and final layout.  Here is my take

I started with clear gesso on entire page, added texture with light modeling paste and a stencil. Added color with Lindy's Treasure Island Aqua and Autumn Maple Crimson, and Alchemy Black Berry Paint.  Spritz with water to move color around, you can see all that lovely texture once color has been added.  Cluster together a photo with tags and paper blocks/ circles.

Add some stamping and the super fun wire!!!

Here I have painted the exposed cardboard with white acrylic and splattered some more color around photo-
Lindy's Autumn Maple Crimson, and Alchemy Opal green violet.

The finished layout.  Added some harlequin texture with stencil and archival ink, some black micro beads along wire, and in cardboard.  I adhered bubbles onto teal pattern paper and cut out then glued onto layout.  To highlight draw around with black charcoal, smug with a dry paintbrush.  Add title.

Love how this one turned out!!! Grungy, bold and funky.  Going to create another page right now with the same techniques .
