The challenge over at 13arts is rainbow colors here is the mood board
Super bright colors, not usually in my wheel house.
I started with covering my journal page with old book pages then coated with a thin layer of white gesso. Stamped around the outside edge with texture stamps and black archival ink.
Painted the checker pattern with green (Dina Wakley Heavy Body Paint)
Drew on some lips and painted with acrylic paint.
The lips once they have been shaded and drips added.
Finishing touches included adding starburst with a stencil and acrylic paint. I painted the starburst so it looks like a rainbow blending the colors between transitions. Next add journaling strips and color around outside with charcoal. Next i shaped wire into speaker bubbles like in comics- love this part. I wanted the wire to pop more so I painted the speaker bubbles with black acrylic paint.
This journal page went really quickly and was actually super easy to pull together. It is super bright without a ton of embellishments definitely not my normal page but it works.
Scrap Later.
This is truly AMAZING!!!! (Mommaoxox)
